Beginning his military career in 1999, Jordan enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. There, he served as a hydraulics and structural mechanic on FA-18 aircraft with VMFA (AW) 242 for five years. Following this, Jordan was selected to instruct at Naval Air Station Pensacola, where he trained future Navy and Marine aviation maintainers. Concurrently, he pursued his college education and earned a Bachelor’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2007. That same year Jordan married his now wife Gidget. In 2008, Jordan embarked on a new chapter as a pilot after being commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. Undergoing rigorous training at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi, and Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas, Jordan attained his wings and was subsequently assigned to Moody Air Force Base as an HC-130 pilot. Jordan has transitioned from his active duty role in the United States Air Force after an illustrious 21-year military career. However, his dedication to service continues as he now fulfills the role of a Government Test Pilot at Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
